Installation Questions
How to assemble Graco 4Ever car seat and what should it look like put together?
The Graco 4Ever car seat should come fully assembled in the box. To see how the assembled car seat looks like during unboxing, you may watch this video.
You only need to install the cup holders. To do so, please match the left cup holder to the left side of the seat and the right to the right. Align the tap on the cup holder with the slot and slide down (please see image below taken from the Instruction Manual). You will hear a clicking sound.
How to install Graco 4Ever car seat rear-facing (with video)
You can install Graco 4Ever car seat rear-facing with either the LATCH strap or vehicle seat belt. This video shows a demonstration of both methods.
- To install rear-facing using the LATCH strap, please follow the steps below. You may wish to watch this video to see a demonstration.

Attach the top tether hook to the plastic bar on either side of the car seat (please see image below taken from the Instruction Manual).

Push in on the red buttons on the LATCH connectors and remove them from storage location (please see image below taken from the Instruction Manual).

Ensure that the LATCH strap is in the rear-facing belt path (marked with a blue label). -

Recline the car seat so that it is in recline position 1, 2 or 3. -

Place the car seat rear-facing in the vehicle's back seat. Its base should sit as flat as possible on the vehicle seat.

Extend the LATCH strap to its maximum length.

Adjust the seat until the bubble is completely within the blue zone in the Level Indicator. Your vehicle must be on level ground when you check the indicator.

Connect LATCH connectors to the vehicle's lower LATCH anchors (please see images below taken from the Instruction Manual). Ensure the strap is not twisted.

Press down firmly at the center of the car seat and tighten the LATCH strap (please see image below taken from the Instruction Manual). You may need to tighten through the slit in the pad at the belt path.

Grab the sides of the car seat and slide it side-to-side and front-to-back to test for tightness. The car seat should move less than 2.5 cm.

Check the Level Indicator again to ensure the bubble is completely within the blue zone. Readjust the car seat if needed.

You can install forward-facing using Graco 4Ever car seat with either the LATCH strap or vehicle seat belt.

Unhook the tether and lay it in the seat (please see image below taken from the Instruction Manual).

- Below are step-by-step instructions to install backed booster using the Graco 4Ever car seat.

Store the harness by following the steps below.
- Loosen the harness straps.
- Raise the headrest to the highest position.
- Unbuckle the chest clip and buckle strap.
- Undo the 2 snaps in the headrest pad to expose the seat back.
- Lift the headrest pad flap up out of the way.
- Undo the 2 lower snaps of the bottom seat pad and pull the pad back to expose the harness storage door.
- Open the harness storage door. Close the door after placing the harness, chest clip and buckle tongues inside the storage compartment.
- Store the buckle as shown in the image below (taken from the Instruction Manual).
- Replace the seat pad and move the headrest back to a proper position that is suitable for your child.

To find out the expiration date of your Graco 4Ever car seat, please look for the date of manufacture on the sticker found on the back of the car seat. The car seat expires 10 years after that date.
How to place or fit a newborn in Graco 4Ever car seat
Before placing a newborn in the Graco 4Ever car seat, please ensure the body support of infant insert is already placed in the car seat (see image below taken from the Instruction Manual).
