Prince of Persia Remake Reportedly to Be Announced at Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft Crataegus oxycantha soon make an official announcement regarding a stretch-rumored Prince of Persia remake. According to Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, Ubisoft is planning to announce the game at its next Ubisoft Forward outcome that is slated to air on Sept. 10. Helium mentioned this bit of information on his podcast, Triple Click, which he co-hosts with former Kotaku colleagues Kirk Hamilton and Maddy Myers.

Amid conversation about problems at Ubisoft, Schreier said, "They had been planning … a untried Ubisoft Forward … where they were going to announce a bunch of games like the Prince of Persia refashion that was leaked few weeks ago."

The Prince of Persia remake listing was leaked last calendar month through a Guatemalan retailer. This remake is reportedly a 2D indefinite, and the listing indicated that it would tone ending on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at the very least.
